Pitt Undergoes Successful Surgery On Injured Shoulder

Dual World Supersport Champion Andrew Pitt has undergone successful surgery on his badly broken collarbone at Queens Hospital in Nottingham, UK. Andrew's operation was carried out by a surgeon recommended to Pitt by Niall Mackenzie.

"The collarbone was plated and screwed on Tuesday night. The surgeon did a brilliant job and I'm already exercising the shoulder. Unfortunately I am not going to make Cadwell Park BSB, however, I will be testing a Moto2 bike as soon as I am fit to ride".

Andrew was set to make his Moto2 debut this weekend with the Scott team at Brno. He has also been offered a possible WSBK return for the remainder of the season with an established team.
