Noli Ligure

I arrived Noli Ligure at the start of August about the 3rd or 4th for 4-5 days with some friends and sponsors from the team and left on the morning of the 31st. it is such a beautiful place and so relaxing i just couldn't leave.
I had my bicycle there and cycled every morning and swam and relaxed on the beach every afternoon.
I went for long walks at night along the beachfront (lungomare) after dinner and really recharged my batteries.
It was just what I needed to put a smile back on my face in prepartion for the last 4 races.
I finally had to leave on the 31st because we had a test scheduled for assen in the week leading up to the next race in germany.
In between I put my bicycle in the car and drove over the border to france to climb the famous Mont Ventoux.
It was the penultimate stage of this years tour de france and is very unique with its moon like terrain at the top.
I got it done but it was very challenging and much more difficult than i expected.
Now here in germany for the next race with new motivation and smiling again.
Hopefully the bike is ready. |
