Valencia was a big disappointment after things were looking so good in qualifying. Crashing out in the race was definitely not part of the plan. Friday was great setting the pole time and then crashing twice on Saturday losing the front tyre and a third time in the race so we really need to sort out that problem and find the cause

I am at the team workshop in Holland now  for the weekend before assen to do some promotion work for the team and go through some data from Valencia. I am pleased to say the team has found some new settings to try and hopefully we have the confidence back in the front and we will be on the pace straight away.

It is the home race for the team so obviously it is very important for them and also for me because we need to get the championship back on track this weekend at Assen. Fingers crossed.
